Dimpul Konwar

Dr. Dimpul Konwar has extensive experience in both high and low-temperature fuel cell technologies, specifically solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) and polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). During his doctoral studies (July 2013 to February 2017) in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Gachon University, under the supervision of Prof. Hyon Hee Yoon, he developed a novel mixed ion conducting ceramic electrolyte thin film for hydrogen and hydrocarbon fuel cell applications. His research findings were published in reputable international journals.

Following his doctoral degree, he continued his research at Gachon University as a Research Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (April 2017 to February 2024). Subsequently, he transitioned to Yonsei University, serving as a Research Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (March 2024 to March 2025). Dr. Konwar holds three approved patents and has two additional patents pending.

Currently, Dr. Konwar is a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at VSB-TUO, Materials-Envi Lab in Ostrava, Czech Republic. His primary research interest centers on high-entropy electrocatalyst materials for fuel cells and hydrogen generation.
