František Zelenka

František Zelenka is a researcher focused on electron microscopy at VŠB-TUO, MELab in Ostrava. He received his PhD in material chemistry in 2022 from Masaryk University in Brno. He started his microscopy story in 2017 as an intern in a group of application scientists at the Thermo Fisher Scientific company, where he worked on several projects connected to SEM development with a focus on in-situ experiments. He was also responsible for developing microCT products and ensuring customer training and support between the years 2019 and 2022. Since 2022, he has been working as an application scientist for FIB/SEM systems with plasma ion sources and automated techniques connected to these instruments (Auto Slice & View, AutoTEM).
