Ruibin Li

Dr. Ruibin Li (ORCID: 0000-0001-6471-7658) is a group leader and senior researcher at VSB-TUO, CEET, MELab in Ostrava, Czech Republic. He earned his Ph.D. in chemistry from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2011. From 2011 to 2016, he conducted research on toxicology and biomedicine at UCLA with Tian Xia and Andrew Nel. In 2016, he joined Soochow University as a Professor in Medicine, where he established a laboratory and mentored students, resulting in prestigious publications in Nanobiology. Since 2024, he has also held a senior researcher position at VSB-TUO in MELab.

Dr. Li has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications, holds an h-index of 44, and has received more than 6000 citations. His research interests include the environmental and health safety assessments of nanomaterials, nanomedicines for tumor therapy, and antimicrobial nanotechnologies. Over the past five years, he has supervised research projects that have led to top-rated publications in journals such as Nat Nanotech, Nat Commun, J Am Chem Soc, Angew Chem Int Ed, Environ Health Perspect, ACS Nano, and others.
