I have completed my B.Sc. in Chemistry from Berhampore Girls College under Kalyani University (2013) and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (2015). My M.Sc. research work was based on synthetic methodology of organic chemistry and preparation of bio-active compounds.

After completion of my M.Sc. degree, I have joined PhD in Indian Institute of Technology Indore,

in 2015, under the supervision of Prof. Shaikh M. Mobin. My PhD research work focused on design, synthesis and characterization of several nanomaterials’s used as heterogeneous catalysts for selective organic transformations and water oxidation. My research work highlights on the perspectives of developing new heterogeneous catalysts (transition and inner transition metal based nanocatalyst) synthesized at ambient reaction conditions under economical viable environmentally benign method and further utilized them on catalysis fields. I have worked on several types of nanomaterials such as mixed metal oxides, metal/non-metal doping, core-shell, metal complex derived nanocatalyst, hybrid and single atom catalyst.

I pursued postdoctoral research from University of Antwerp, Belgium (February 2022-July 2023). My postdoctoral research work was based on photo/electrocatalytic CO2 reduction to obtain selective C1 and C2 product by heterogeneous catalyst. Afterthat I have done another postdoc from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, India (February 2024-December 2024).

I have qualified prestigious all India level exam such as IIT JAM-2013 and GATE-2015, and received BOF postdoctoral fellowship in Belgium. My research work has been published in international journals of high reputation i.e. Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, Inorganic Chemistry, Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Biology & drug design, Chemical Science etc. Currently I am postdoctoral fellow of VSB-Technical University Ostrava, at Materials-Envi lab and my research work focus on single atom catalysts for biomass valorization.
