Sohrab Nasiri

Dr. Sohrab Nasiri received his PhD in materials engineering from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) in 2021. He was a winner of the postdoctoral fellowship competition and received funding from the European Social Fund under the grant agreement with the Research Council of Lithuania (LMTLT) from 2021 to 2023. He has experience as a lecturer and has taught at IAUN and KTU in various courses such as materials science, crystallography, metal extraction and speckle interferometry.

His research activities focus on materials characterization, photophysics, and optical device fabrication. In particular, he is an expert in the design and development of thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) dyes as emitter layers for the fabrication of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and light-emitting electrochemical cells (LEECs). He received several projects as a junior, senior and chief researcher and published several articles in Q1 journals on composites, polymers, crystallite size, solar cells, TADF OLEDs, etc. as part of these projects. He is also an active reviewer and has participated in numerous oral presentations and invited talks at seminars and
conferences.
