Girish Suresh Yedase

Dr Girish Suresh Yedase was born and raised in Solapur, Maharashtra, India. He completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry (Hons.) from Solapur University in 2016 and his M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry) from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2018. He completed his PhD in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram (IISER Thiruvananthapuram), in 2025. His PhD studies focused on developing new methodologies for “C–C bond formation reactions driven by visible light photocatalysis.” Experienced in reaction design, organic synthesis, photocatalytic method development, and mechanistic studies.

Dr. Girish Suresh Yedase is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the MEL group at the Center for Nanotechnology CEET at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. His current research focuses on the design and development of single-atom photocatalysts for the synthesis of complex organic compounds.
