Thi Phuong Bui
Phuong Thi Bui obtained her Master’s degree in Convergence Manufacturing System Engineering from Korea National University of Science and Technology (UST) in 2025. During her Master’s program, she was employed at Korea Institute of Industrial Technology School (KITECH) under the supervision of Prof. In Park, specializing in Superhydrophobic Surfaces. Subsequently, she served as a Research Assistant at VinUniversity, Vietnam, focusing on Smart Window Technology for Energy Efficiency.
In 2026, she commenced her Ph.D. studies in Materials Science and Engineering at the VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava under the guidance of Prof. Zbořil, Assoc. Prof. Štěpán Kment, and Dr. Thanh-Lam Bui. Currently, she is a member of the MEL group at the VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava. Her research focuses on exploring the morphological impact of anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) and developing a non-thermal photocatalyst system using earth-abundant plasmonic materials for the efficient decomposition of ammonia (NH3).
