Manoj Gawande

Prof. Manoj B. Gawande (FRSC-UK, FICS, FMASc) received his Ph.D. in 2008 from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, and then undertook several research stints in Germany, South Korea, Portugal, Czech Republic, United States, and United Kingdom. He worked as a “visiting professor” at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2013. Presently, he is working as Associate Professor at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai-Marathwada Campus, Jalna, India. He has published over 160 research articles (citations >14,000). He is also included in Stanford University’s “Ranking of the World Scientists: World’s Top 2% Scientists” for the year 2019 to 2021. Since, June 2023; he concurrently, working as a “visiting professor” at CEET, Nanotechnology Centre VŠB Technical University of Ostrava. Dr. Gawande is an editor of several leading journals including Current Organic Chemistry (Bentham publications), Associate Editor for Current Catalysis, Regional Editor for Current Organic Synthesis (Bentham Publications), and Editorial board member of Scientific Research (Nature Publication). From June 2023, he has been invited as Editorial Advisory Board Member of ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering. He served as a Guest Editor for VI on “N-doped carbon Materials: Synthesis and Applications” by ACS Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering (ACS publications) and a Special Issue on “Single-Atom Catalysts” by Small and Advanced Material Interfaces (Wiley publications).
